One of my special things I do is I leave my car out of garage to have more room inside to be able to store there my incredible cardboard collection which contains overwhelming amount of visual esthetics of fruit delivery boxes that I have found in different countries around the world. This is the main reason why I am excited to travel abroad so after opening ceremony at Guidi Museum in Forte dei Marmi I am going to grab some local Italian boxes on a street to take them with me back home to the Czech republic.
People are always afraid that I am a criminal who carries a bomb inside of that, but I just come with idea banana box is too cool and funny thing to be suitably turned to contemporary art which is exactly the potential I try to unleash through my creation. No matter if I climb with the boxes to high elevations to show their beauty at the top of alpine peak, or if I remix their original design into sexy artworks in my studio. Actually it is still about the same passionable playing as I only did during my childness when I was a little boy.
To paint this black and white artwork was like playing chess with my grandfather I always lost the game with. For me is crucial to consider all the context where my artwork is going to be exhibited. While visual esthetics of fruit delivery boxes from which my production comes is quite colourful, I have found a way with black and white only in case of Kalos 2020 Prize.
